Three Nominations At The 2012 ISPA's

Specialist ISP Exa Networks nominated for three ISPA top industry awards.

The Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA UK) has announced that specialist ISP Exa Networks are among the finalists in three categories for its 14th annual awards.

Exa Networks, based in Cottingley near Bingley, is on the shortlist for the Best Business Customer Service – and is hoping to repeat last year’s success when it won this category.

Exa is also nominated in the Managed Service Innovation category for its work supplying Internet and wireless connectivity to Bradford University’s “The Green” Student Accommodation which opened September 2011.

And it’s also among the finalists in the Internet Safety and Security category for its SurfProtect product, a cutting edge system which filters content to ensure children can use the internet safely in hundreds of schools across the UK.

Exa Networks is one of more than 40 companies nominated across 12 categories with results announced on 3 July.

Exa Networks has grown steadily since its foundation in 2003 and now employs 20 people at its Yorkshire base.

Mark Cowgill, Managing Director of Exa Networks, said: “These nominations offer Exa Networks a great opportunity to shine on a global stage. Winning last year’s award was a great boost to our business and has helped to affirm our reputation for high quality products and great service.

“To be nominated in three categories is brilliant and we hope the hard work at the Exa over the last year will once again be rewarded at the ISPAs.”

It is now down to the independent panel of ISPA Awards judges to decide on the winners which will be announced on July 3 at the Park Lane Sheraton Hotel. Tickets to the event are available and can be purchased from the awards website here.

ISPA Secretary General, Nicholas Lansman, said: “Congratulations to all the finalists of the 14th annual awards and the best of luck for the night. Nomination is the culmination of either rigorous technical testing, written entry forms analysed by experts judges or votes from customers.
