We have been made aware of an issue where SurfProtect customers are seeing unusual behaviour when using the Bing search page on the Microsoft Edge browser.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
When you click on a search result link from the Bing search page, it is opening a new tab in the browser, but instead of loading the website you are expecting, it is opening to the MSN homepage. This happens for every link.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
As soon as we were made aware of this, we fully tested the issue to ensure this was an issue with SurfProtect before referring this to our in-house SurfProtect development team for further investigations.<\/p>
We have been able to replicate the problem and we are creating new debugging tools purely to help identify the root cause and\u00a0 find a solution.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
During our initial testing, we have identified a setting that can be turned off via the Bing search page that will stop this issue from happening. If you would like to implement this, please follow the steps below,<\/p>
