How to connect Rural Fibre
You will need...
For a Rural Fibre connection you will receive:
- A router suitable for the connection
- A power supply
- An ethernet cable
Getting connected
The router will need to connect to ETH0, following the below steps :
- Install the NTE wall mounted in a suitable location where the fibre will not be damaged.
- Connect the NTE access port to ETH0 on the Ubiquiti Device using a Cat5e cable.
- To connect the Ubiquiti to a firewall you need to connect ETH1 to the WAN port on the firewall
- If you have a back up line that would connect to ETH2
