We’re extremely proud that Exa Networks has been shortlisted for three categories at the ISPA Awards for 2025: Best Business ISP, Best Customer Experience and Best Customer, Data and Network Security.
The nominations highlight our continued commitment to delivering high performance, secure and customer-focused connectivity for businesses and schools across the UK.
Supporting businesses with reliable connectivity
Our nomination for Best Business ISP recognises the work we’ve done to deliver flexible, high-quality connectivity tailored to the needs of UK businesses.
Over the past year, we’ve invested heavily in our infrastructure, including a major server refresh across our national network. These upgrades have improved speed, reliability and scalability for our customers.
We’ve also expanded our partnerships with key providers such as Sky, Netomnia/BRSK and Pangea, increasing coverage and allowing us to offer a wider range of connectivity options. From leased lines and FTTP to 4G and 5G failover, our solutions are designed to keep businesses online and performing at their best.
Every customer is supported by a dedicated account manager and provisioning coordinator from day one, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and personalised support. Combined with transparent pricing and flexible contracts, this approach helps businesses get the most from their connection.
Putting customer experience at the heart of everything we do
We’re also proud to be recognised in the Best Customer Experience category. Our customers consistently rate their experience with us highly, with an average satisfaction score of 9.8 out of 10 across all support cases since November 2023.
Our integrated Customer Operations Team and dedicated Customer Experience Officer ensure that every stage of the customer journey is seamless, from installation to ongoing support.
We monitor connections in real time, addressing potential issues before they cause disruption, and keep customers informed with regular updates and clear communication.
To make it even easier for customers to get help, we launched our online Help Site, providing step-by-step guidance and the option to request new content. It’s all part of our goal to deliver the best possible service at every stage and listen our customers feedback.
How service should be. Easy to access, quick response, issue resolved. Thanks.
[Engineer name] is an excellent engineer in both his knowledge and his approach to customers. That appears to be common trait amongst Exa Engineers.
Great customer service, support went the extra mile to help with my issue.
Very thorough from both [Engineer names]. Identified a mistake (Schools mistake) and supported the school tech team into resolving it for us.
Building a safer, more secure internet for everyone
Our shortlisting for Best Customer, Data and Network Security reflects our focus on keeping customers protected at every level.
Security is built into everything we do, from our fully UK-based infrastructure to our in-house platforms SurfProtect and the Exa Virtual Firewall. These provide advanced content filtering, firewalling and threat protection, helping to safeguard networks against malicious activity.
We maintain rigorous internal processes including regular vulnerability scans, proactive patching and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. Our partnerships with key industry bodies and ongoing alignment with Ofcom, the DfE, NCSC and the ICO ensure we continue to meet the highest standards.
Being shortlisted for three ISPA Awards is a great reflection of our team’s hard work and dedication. We’ve always believed that great connectivity starts with great service, and these nominations show that our focus on reliability, security and customer care continues to make a real impact.
The ISPA Awards celebrate innovation and excellence across the UK internet industry, and we’re proud to be recognised among the leading providers shaping the future of connectivity.
