The Exa Foundation was launched in 2015, with an aim to inspire digital learners by encouraging young people to consider a career in tech, support computing in schools by providing innovative ways to teach and promote the safe use of technology by educating young people about the dangers online.

Providing online, physical events, conferences and workshops for learners, educators and digital makers of all ages across the country, our sessions cover a variety of topics including programming, video games, coding, safeguarding, robotics and music.

Alan O’Donohoe is our Specialist Leader in Education. He has been hosting and visiting schools around the country with The Exa Foundation since 2015. With more than 20 years’ experience in teaching Alan inspires educators who attend sessions, providing new teaching techniques and fresh approaches that are more stimulating and engaging for their learners.
