Exa is pleased to announce the new Exa Foundation Learning Programme for teachers and pupils.
Since 2015, the Foundation has worked with schools and colleges to support student learning, as well as provide professional development for teachers.
The new Learning Programme offers a variety of interactive and engaging activities that meet current curriculum requirements. As always, the aim is to inspire curiosity and educate students and teachers about computing and the world wide web.
The programme has two pillars: Protect and Connect®. Protect highlights effective habits anyone can develop to mitigate the risks of online activity. Connect explores the history of the internet and reveals the technologies that make it work.
Who is it for?
Activities have been designed for an audience of learners aged 7 up to 18 years old, and each module can be adapted for each Key Stage. The new learning programme can also be used to provide CPD to educators, or even training for parents.
What does it cost?
If you are an Exa connectivity customer or a partner, access to the Foundation is included in your package. If you’re a non-Exa customer it is available to you from £1,000 per day.
How can you book?
If you are an Exa partner or connectivity customer, contact your account manager in the first instance. If you are a non-Exa customer, there is a form at http://exa.is/booksession, or contact us here.
